Sustainable 5G Management (Sustainable5G 2017)

Motivation of the Track:

Urbanization is inspiring technologies to step towards the vision of sustainable development.  In this context, Sustainable5G will present holistic view on cutting edge 5G and beyond technologies. This will be a gathering of innovative ideas behind wireless communication, advanced spectrum management and virtualization, with more advanced direction, such as massive MIMO, cloud-computing, etc.

Sustainable5G will introduce interested users with the most up-to-date technologies of wireless communication and networks, with its advanced usage, such as internet-of-things, machine-to-machine communication. Additionally, this will illustrate 5G beyond technologies, such as energy harvesting, narrow band IoT, which are yet to be addressed.

Topics of the Track:                                                                                                         

Ø  Fundamental and advanced engineering knowledge on 5G network.                                           

Ø  Emerging area of wireless networks, such as, 6LOWPAN, narrow-band IoT, CoAP, REST.

Ø  Hot issues in standardization of networks, such as massive MIMO, OFDMA, etc.                                                

Ø  Emerging issues on cloud and edge computing.                                                                                                

Ø  Advanced topics on network virtualization, such as software-defined network and network function virtualization.

Thus, session will be of significant importance to telecommunication professionals, who aim to extend their further contribution towards sustainable development.
